Sierra Club Seal Yahi Group For the Northern California counties of Butte, Glenn, Lassen, Plumas, and Tehama.
A regional unit of the Sierra Club, in 5 Northern California counties; most meetings take place in the city of Chico, located about 100 miles north of Sacramento. The 1500 members have interests in both the conservation and enjoyment of wilderness and the natural world. The Group organizes hiking and other outdoor activities; it also provides a focused response to environmental issues in the region. It is operated entirely by volunteers.
