Learn the tools to Master Photography in this comprehensive class!

 

Lectures include:

·         Photography Basics and Techniques

·         Introduction to Digital Photography

·         Composition and Light for Landscape photography

·         Metering and Exposure

·         Filters, Reflectors and Equipment

·         Learn about Flash and how to use it effectively

Field practice includes:

·         Shooting at sunrise and sunset for dramatic lighting

·         Photographing Fall Colors in the Sierra Nevada

·         Critiques of  your digital images, film photographers may bring in photos shot at other locations for critique

 

Lecture Presentations by Jennifer Wu and Wendy Desormeaux. Jennifer teaches photography for CSU, Sacramento and BetterPhoto.com. www.jenniferwu.com. Wendy has professionally photographed weddings, portraits and nature photography.  Her work has been displayed in various galleries and she was voted the best Photographer of the Show at a local art show.

 

This class offers information in a clear and easy to understand format. The instruction starts with the basics and moves on to cover an in depth understanding of photography. Whether you have never picked up a camera before, or have been photographing for years you will find the information relevant to your skill level. We will teach you how to take images that are dramatic and have an impact on the viewer.

 

$225.00 per person includes two nights dormitory lodging, six meals, presentation materials and great instruction. Deposit of $100 reserves your space.
